LEBLANC, Zoël J.

Zoël LeBlanc, 66, died Saturday at his residence.

Born at Pré-d'en-Haut, he was a son of the late Jaddus and Delphine (Gautreau) LeBlanc. He had been employed for close to 40 years as brakeman with Canadian National Railway on retirement last summer, and was a member of the Pré-d'en-Haut Golden Age Club.

He is survived by his wife, the former Elmire Gautreau; two daughters, Mrs. Oscar LeBlanc (Aline) of Pré-d'en-Haut and Miss Diane LeBlanc of Tracadie; three sons, Clarence of Shediac. Victor and Donald LeBlanc, both of Pré-d'en-Haut; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Pineau of Reading, Mass., and Mrs. Willie Cormier (Edith) of Moncton; a brother, Abel LeBlanc of Moncton; 11 grand-children, and by nieces and nephews. A sister, Lydia, died previously.

The body is at Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. today from the Our Lady of the Annonciation Roman Catholic Church, Pré-d'en-Haut. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
